The plastic used in your card is 82% recycled. Other components of the card, such as the chip, antenna, and magnetic strip are not made using recycled material.
The card using recycled plastic will be sent as your existing card nears its expiry date, unless you request a new card before then for a different reason (for example, to replace a damaged card or a card that has been lost, stolen or compromised).
