What to do if your card is lost or stolen

If your card is missing or you’re concerned about fraudulent activity you can lock the card temporarily or block it permanently via the MyCard App or MyCard Online. You can also call us on 13 24 84 (or +61 2 8225 0615 if overseas).

How to temporarily block a card

You can temporarily block a card via the MyCard App or MyCard Online to prevent new transactions without affecting the existing card in your digital wallet, recurring payments or direct debits. To do so:

  1. Log in to the MyCard App or MyCard Online
  2. From home screen, tap Temp Block
  3. Your card will be temporarily blocked
  4. To unblock, simply tap Unblock from home screen

Please note, you can also contact us on 13 24 84 (or +61 2 8225 0615) to temporarily block a card.

 

How to report a lost or stolen card

You can block your card and request for a replacement via the MyCard App or MyCard Online. Go to Manage then select Replace card.

Alternatively, you can call us on 13 24 84 (or +61 2 8225 0615 from overseas) and speak to a customer service agent. We will review your recent transactions, block your card to stop any fraudulent activity and arrange for a new card to be sent to you.

You should receive a new card with a new card number and new expiry date within 7 business days. Your old PIN will remain the same. Refer to our guide if you want to reset or change your existing MyCard PIN.

FAQs 

Yes, if you report your card as lost or stolen, we will cancel and reissue your physical card. You’ll continue to be able to use your digital card through Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.

You should receive your new card within 7 business days of you reporting your card as lost or stolen.
