Eligibility criteria

To be eligible, MyCard cardholders must charge the entire purchase price of the covered item to the accountholder’s card account.

Only items with a manufacturer’s unique identification serial number on them and a manufacturer’s warranty period are covered under this insurance.

The following table sets out examples of how extended warranty periods apply:

What is covered?

You are covered for the purchase price charged to the card account limited to $10,000 per covered item up to a maximum total limit of $40,000 per card account in any 12-month period.

How to make a claim

To make a claim, use one of the following methods:

Email: You can also download, opens in new window, and complete the relevant claim form and email cardclaims@allianz-assistance.com.au.
